A Day of Irish Entertainment

On Saturday, June 28th, the AOH St. Patrick's Division 4 and LAOH St. Bridget Division 4 in the North Hills are sponsoring a 'Day of Irish Entertainment'. Beginning at Noon and going until 8 PM, this event will take place at the CROATIAN CENTER on Schitzen Park Road off Babcock Boulevard in Ross Township.

The Pavillion Area

Entertainment for the day includes local Ballad Singer, JACK PUSKAR on vocals and guitar singing favorite Irish songs. The Traditional music group ARAN, from Johnstown, play a wide range of instruments and with very good vocals; bring your dance shoes! A favorite is the Irish Step Dancing with the children along with activities for the little kids including JOE THE JUGGLER.

The Gazebo Area

Admission is $10.00 per person; children under 16 accompanied by an adult are admitted free. It is a good place where the kids can be free and easy and be safe. There will be food and beverages available for purchase; tickets can be purchased in advance from Stephen Kurpiewski at 412.734.9648. Tickets will also be available at the gate and there is free parking.

Steve Kurpiewski - The Man in Charge!

The O'Brien Girls, Lynn, Jeannie & Marie

They handle the 'cookin' in the kitchen!

The Croatian Center is a treasure in our midst; like a blossoming flower at the top of the stem; it is also under cover in case of rain, yet plenty of open, airy space.

Everyone is welcome; it's an excellent day for a family outing; a really good place to mix and mingle with friends you know and friends you haven't met yet.

The Bar Area

Here are some friends that came last year; Porky Burke, friend, and Jack McGuire. They had a grand time!

John Walsh treated us all to his pipe playing. John is a member of AOH Sean MacBride Division 32 in Carnegie. He's just a bit cheeky here!

Put this event on your agenda, bring the family or come by yourself. Rain or shine, it is a day to enjoy!
