Some musical programs are coming to the Pittsburgh region over the next several weeks and I scheduled interviews with some of the artists. The Balmoral Classic takes place on Friday, November 11 through Sunday, November 13th; lots of excellent music here. George Balderose and I will have a pre-recorded interview for next Sunday highlighting the features of this weekend. The Celtic Tenors are coming to The Strand Theatre in Zelienople on November 27th; I’ll have an interview with Matthew Gilsenan of the Celtic Tenors on November 13th

November brings in a re-newed sponsor for The Ireland Report, the Irish American Unity Conference and on November 27th Sarah McAuliffe Bellin will be my guest in the studio.

Michael Londra and the show ‘Beyond Celtic’ will be in our Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 26th and his show is coming to the region, but the date might change. Michael and I will have an interview closer to his show time. Then moving into December, I’m expecting to conduct an interview with Mickey Coleman; another singer, musician, song writer from Co. Tyrone in the North of Ireland. I have been airing Mickey’s music for the past few months and have received some good feed back, so I’ll have a chat with him.

I know many of you are such ardent fans of Celtic Thunder and Ryan Kelly. Many of Ryan’s fans are attempting to have him nominated for Best New Artist given by the Irish Music Association. You too can have your vote count by going to this website and filling out the information. www.irishmusicassociation.com/irishmusicawards/3.newartist.htm.
