The Ireland Report from Belfast with Mairtin O’Muilleoir Managing Director of the Belfast Media Group, www.belfastmediagroup.com and President of the Irish Echo Newspaper, www.irishecho.com. Interview with Kevin Byrne, Author (another book on Ireland). Cudmudgerin depicts the tale of the Mallon family and their adventure filled trip to Ireland. The ancestors of Mike Mallon hail from the quaint seaside town of Cudmudgerin. A treacherous storm on the evening of their arrival at Nelly’s Bed and Breakfast and the ensuing power outage compels the Mallon family to flee Nelly’s Bed & Breakfast and seek refuge at Lord Mountbatten’s Castle.
The disappearance of Mrs. Mallon and her young son Seamus sparks the start of the mystery. Mike Mallon, accompanied by Nelly and Bill (owners of the B&B) and Orrick (caretaker of Mountbatten’s Castle), sets out in the “dimension” to find his family and secure their safe return. Mike and his new found friends discover a magical map showing them the way to the Golden Key, which will unlock the mystery to hopefully rescuing his family.
