Week of January 10

We have been in a deep freeze since the end of December and it is comforting to know spring is on its way! Have you noticed the days are a bit longer now? so too will the season change. With it being so cold, it is quite comforting staying home under the warm covers!

But now it is time to get out and move about. I can hardly wait for Saturday, January 16th when Andy Cooney and his Band will be in Pittsburgh for the "Frost on the Shamrock Winter Social"; this dance is being sponsored by The All Ireland Athletic Association.

It has been a few years since Andy Cooney and his Band have been in Pittsburgh. The last time was a Benefit Concert for The Little Sisters of the Poor that was performed at Central Catholic High School; a brilliant job it was! Andy was so, so good.

This time around it will be a Dance and Andy ought to stir it up enough to make everyone warm, even those who like to watch! I'll be there and maybe I'll see you there as well.
