· Fleadh Rua in the Village of Forkhill in South Armagh . The festival is based on traditional Irish music and a ‘celebration of the beauty of the red-head gene’, people everywhere are invited, especially Red-heads. South Armagh is an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty". The festival weekend will also include historical tours, walks, local art exhibitions, craft and food stalls, and some of Ireland 's finest musicians in concert, culminating in a big traditional ceili, in the local community centre, on Saturday night. The festival is being sponsored by "The Peadar O' Doirnin Folk Society” and chaired by Singer, Songwriter, Musician, Briege Murphy.
