Happy New Year & Seamus Kennedy

2008 has finally gone by the wayside and may 2009 be a better year for all! Even though all the forecasters are predicting tough economic times, and that it may be, perhaps we can live a more simpler life for a while. It is amazing what we can live without, withot imparing our 'quality of life' too much.

The New Year is a good time to set some goals, or perhaps resolutions, depending on how you look at life. I choose to call them goals; some of mine are to quit smoking, lose a few pounds, make this blog a bit more interesting! I have been quite lazy lately and haven't done much with it. But I will continue working on it.

Seamus Kennedy performing January 2, 2009 at Mullaney's Harp & Fiddle

Seamus Kennedy is one performer who will put a smile on your face and keep you laughing for a good long while. He performed at the Harp & Fiddle January 2 & 3 and I had the pleasure of enjoying his performance on Friday. The house was full and the 'craic' was mighty! Everyone around the Pittsburgh area thoroughly enjoys Seamus. We always need a good laugh and perhaps an escape sometimes; Seamus provides that. Plus he can belt out a good song, whether humorus or more serious; and stories -- well, Seamus gives us a good yarn or two several times throughout the evening.

When ever you have an opportunity to see Seamus Kennedy, I highly recommend you make it a date and just go an enjoy him!

A very Happy New Year to all and may many good things come your way in the New Year!
