The Hillman Center for Performing Arts is on the campus of Shady Side Academy in Fox Chapel. The 90-minute performance features 11-time world champion piper Alasdair Gillies (voted by the readers of Piper & Drummer magazine as the 20th century's greatest piper), world champion piper Brian Donaldson, US champion piper George Balderose, and US champion drummer Gordon Bell.
· The four performers are at Shady Side Academy June 28 to July 3 as instructors for Scottish piping and drumming classes administered by the Balmoral School of Piping & Drumming. Since 1978, Balmoral School has held week-long Scottish piping and drumming classes every summer on college campuses throughout the US. This is Balmoral School's first year at Shady Side Academy.
